All throughout the bible you see passages of scripture referring to the future. One of the most compelling characteristics of the bible is the idea that it contains prophecies about future events. Some of these events have already occurred, like the birth of Christ, and some of them are still waiting to be fulfilled. Jesus also spoke of the importance of understanding “the signs of the times.” In this section we attempt to demystify prophecy and end time events so that you don’t feel ignorant and in the dark concerning these things. There are certainly more in depth studies of this material available elsewhere, however, if you are like many people, you don’t want to understand the nuts and bolts of this stuff, you just want what is relevant to you right now. Upon completing this section of the course, you shouldn’t have many big questions or concerns about the events the bible has predicted are coming, and you may even be able to use your knowledge to lead people to Jesus.
